When a folk band goes to Marfa, TX (a hipster oasis in the middle of the desert) to record an acoustic version of an already pretty acoustic song in the back of brightly-painted mobile home, there's a lot of baggage there. But hey, if you're gonna go for it, fucking go for it. And that's exactly what The Wind and The Wave did. They take a catchy folk song, and give it just enough weight and circumstance to push it over the fickle line from good to great. Here here.
