I had the great pleasure of being able to catch a glimpse of Mike Farris this past week at Nashville's revival of its free summer concert series, Dancing in the District. His voice is simply stunning and this guy with his band, the Roseland Rhythm Revue, legitimately brought the house down with their unique blend of southern soul and gospel. If you are a soul music fan, and lets be honest here - its almost hard not to be - this is a must see act. Check out his 2011 performance of the gospel classic "This Little Light of Mine" at Nashville's Music City Roots. Music City y'all.
