Dr. Dog are in the soul business now. While songs like "That Old Black Hole" and "Do The Trick" hinted at their soul leanings, "The Truth" sees them diving head first into that gumbo, snorkel in hand. It's a slow, simmering number, best accompanied by candlelight and a bearskin rug, and also a very promising new look for the band. Their upcoming album, B-Room, is due out October 1st.
