Feels like: All We Are, James Blake, Crystal Fighters, Sunny Levine, Wildcat Wildcat, Jai Paul, How to Dress Well, Toro y Moi, The Neighbourhood, YesYou, The Postal Service
For starters, we saw these guys open up for Cold War Kids on my birthday at the Cannery. Well, it wasn't the best sound to say the least...but then Cold War Kids came on, and well...I think that sound engineer needs to get fired. The one song I knew by this band, "The Beauty Surrounds" sounded like a cover when played live, but I realize that is largely due to the terrible audio clarity at the Cannery. Now don't get me wrong, it is one of my favorite venues, but the audio that night did little justice for Houses let alone one of my all time favorites, Cold War Kids. So, I gave them another listen. And it was absolutely worth it. I think you will find their relaxing and soulful sound reminiscient of The Postal Service and James Blake.
