Hello again. I have been estranged from the blog board for some time. I come to you bearing tidings of peppy eclectic indie-pop melodies from North Carolina's Annuals. This 8 piece indie pop collective utilizes a variety of tones and textures to create what ends up being an unusually pleasant mess of sound. I only say mess because of the sheer number of instrumentalists contributing at any given point. It's amazing the song never becomes too busy or out of control for what it is. I especially love the rhythmic change around the 1:32 mark. Give a listen and enjoy.
